With the multitude of hairdressers in Melbourne, this refitting of a salon became about its re-branding. We looked at how logos could come to mean something beyond a name. Our attempt was to use the logo not only as symbol, but a brand imprinted onto the interior; something that then distinguished the brand. Given also the meaning of the company name, we then used its meaning to establish the process of placing the name through the interior.
